About Us
Established in 2006, RT Nagar Socio Cultural Trust is an engaging Bengali association that aspires to retain the rich heritage of Bengal while promoting a sense of togetherness and belonging. Gathering people through colourful celebrations and meaningful engagement, we are rooted in tradition and invigorated by community spirit.
We celebrate our roots in passion, from the serenity of Saraswati Puja to the festive rhythms of Bongo Utsav to the grandeur of Durga Puja. Laxmi Puja’s calmness, Kali Puja’s intensity, and Jagadhatri Puja’s elegance and grace remind us of our cultural anchor points and bring the city’s Bengalees together. In addition to these exciting rituals, we also give back to society through several social initiatives - fusing devotion with purpose, and culture with compassion.
Puja. Nostalgia. Celebration. Togetherness.
At RT Nagar Socio-Cultural Trust, we recreate that very essence in the heart of Bangalore. Every festival, from Saraswati Puja to Durga Puja, Kali Puja to Jagadhatr Pujai, is not just a ritual - it’s a reunion of hearts, memories, and tradition. If you’ve ever longed for that nostalgic touch of Bengal or simply want to be part of something loving and spirited, come, join us. Let’s celebrate not just festivals, but the togetherness.
Immerse yourself in the aromas of authentic Bengali cuisine, the sights of exquisitely-crafted idols, and the sounds of dhak and devotional songs. Our Puja pandal is a place where every sense is awakened to the joy of the festivities. More than a festival, it’s a community coming together to celebrate unity, strength, and the triumph of good over evil. R T Nagar Durga Puja is where friendships are formed, and the spirit of Bengal is alive and thriving in Bangalore.
At RT Nagar Socio-Cultural Trust, celebrations go hand in hand with compassion. While we host grand cultural events, we also remain deeply committed to social responsibility. During Jagadhatri Puja, we organized a blood donation camp, encouraging members to give back to the community. In Durga Puja, we welcome around 50 children from an NGO, gifting them books, stationery, meals, and unforgettable moments of joy. We also ensure wheelchair access for senior citizens, making the festivities inclusive for all. Through every event, we strive to bring smiles, support, and meaningful impact. Our mission goes beyond rituals – it is about standing together as a community and making a real difference in society.
